Art as Vaccine

So many peo­ple have given their lives to Jesus that it has become a prob­lem for those who have not. That is, the giv­ing of one’s life to Jesus is to some degree con­ta­gious. Being con­stantly immersed in spaces built and main­tained by peo­ple who have given their lives to Jesus causes non-Christian per­sons to engage in behav­iors and assume atti­tudes that amount to a diluted form of the same thing—the same giv­ing. This is where art might come in. Art is the oppor­tu­nity to take one’s life com­pletely away from Jesus.
